Overview

The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) is a key executive responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company. This role involves developing and implementing innovative strategies to increase revenue, market share, and customer acquisition while enhancing brand presence and organizational scalability. The CGO will lead cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives and ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives.  The CGO will serve as a member of the Executive Management Team, which provides shared oversight and leadership of the company.

Work Environment:

  • This position may require occasional travel to various company locations and industry events.
  • The CGO will work closely with the executive team and other departments to ensure the successful execution of growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive growth strategies to drive revenue and market share.
  • Work with operational executives and their business development teams to implement the growth strategies.
  • Identify new opportunities for growth, including entering new markets and launching new services.
  • Iterate the payer innovation strategy to drive growth within a strong payer mix
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to optimize existing revenue streams and explore new avenues for income generation. 
  • Driving the creation of new products and services that meet customer needs and drive growth, while fostering a culture of innovation within the organization. 
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives, ensuring collaboration between business development, specialty programs, marketing & communications, operations, and customer excellence.
  • Analyze market trends, and referral and customer insights to inform growth strategies.
  • Develop and manage home office budgets and resources related to growth initiatives.
  • Utilizing data analytics to track progress, measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives, and make informed decisions about investments and priorities
  • Communicate growth plans and progress to the CEO, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure the organization has the talent, drive, urgency and capabilities needed to support future growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
  • Extensive successful track record in developing and implementing business strategy across a large, multi-site healthcare company.  Also experience in, sales, marketing, or a related field, with a track record of driving growth and revenue.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement growth strategies based on market trends and customer insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate growth plans and progress to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in home health and hospice, is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven experience in strategic business growth and market expansion.
  • Ability to optimize business models to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines that govern home health and hospice operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of high performance and accountability within the team.
