Overview

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a VP of Financial Reporting to join our team in Dallas, TX. Our dynamic team is dedicated to revolutionizing the way healthcare is delivered and we're seeking a seasoned financial reporting professional to drive our SEC reporting efforts.

 

This position is located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation, analysis, and coordination of SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather necessary information for financial reports.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends to ensure adherence to US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Mentor and develop a team of financial reporting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process enhancements to streamline financial reporting procedures and improve efficiency.
  • Liaise with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, earnings releases, and other communication materials.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in technical accounting and SEC reporting roles, preferably in the healthcare industry, including supervision and management of accounting staff.
  • Active CPA certification and a degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Public company experience required.
  • Prior Big 4 audit firm experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with Workiva is a plus.
