Overview

The Vice President of Treasury is Resonsible for developing and managing strategies, operations and policies related to the company’s treasury function. This includes daily cash management, short- and long-term cash forecasting, capital market interactions and M&A related activities.  Leads a high-performing treasury team that ensures strategic alignment with corporate objectives.

 

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cash management operations, ensuring optimal liquidity for business needs.
  • Develop and maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow forecasting model to support short-term liquidity planning.
  • Implement long-term working capital optimization strategies, improving cash conversion cycles and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls related to treasury activities.
  • Assume lead role in any debt and/or capital structure initiatives
  • Lead and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and credit providers.
  • Manage syndicated lending relationships, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Develop and execute a new lender acquisition strategy to diversify capital sources and enhance financial flexibility.
  • Drive the relationship strategy with lenders, maintaining transparency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute the company’s long-term funding strategy, ensuring sustainable financial growth.
  • Optimize the company’s capital structure, balancing equity, debt, and other financing instruments.
  • Manage debt vehicles and financing arrangements, ensuring cost-effective borrowing solutions.
  • Explore opportunities for capital markets access, including bond issuances, credit facilities, and private placements.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to develop and implement strategies to optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and reduce bad debt exposure.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to identify and address trending cash collections changes that potentially could impact cash collections efforts and develop a robust process to accurately forecast cash collections.
  • Design and oversee the company’s insurance program, ensuring adequate coverage for operational and financial risks.
  • Lead enterprise risk assessments, identifying key financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and execute an interest rate management strategy, including swaps and hedging programs.
  • Conduct cost of capital analysis, ensuring financing decisions align with business objectives.
  • Foster payment controls and security measures, safeguarding against fraud and financial mismanagement.
  • Maintain treasury processes and controls to ensure compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Lead system implementation projects, integrating new treasury management technologies and automation tools.
  • Establish best practices in treasury operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Qualifications

  • Required to have Bachelor's Degree in, accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Preferred Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
  • Required minimum seven to ten years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking, with a focus on cash management, capital markets, and financial risk.
  • Required minimum five years of leadership experience managing treasury functions, ideally in a public company or private equity environment.
  • Required previous strong experience in banking relationship management, syndicated lending, and lender negotiations.
  • Required deep understanding of capital structure strategy, interest rate risk management, and financial instruments.
  • Required proven track experience in developing and implementing treasury controls, cash flow forecasting, and funding strategies.
  • Required advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, including modeling, advanced formulas, macros, pivot tables, and other advanced features.
  • Preferred previous experience in liquidity planning, debt financing, and working capital optimization.
  • Preferred working knowledge to support SEC reporting & SOX compliance, as well as statutory and GAAP reporting around Treasury related functions.
  • Preferred experience and strong knowledge of capital markets and financing deal structuring.
  • Preferred previous experience in a home health or hospice setting.
  • Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
  • Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially MS office, including word, powerpoint, and excel.
  • Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other position objectives.
