Overview
As a Strategic Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision making across the organization. Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to inform key business initiatives, optimize financial performance, and drive long-term value creation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving business growth through strategic financial planning and analysis.
This is an office based role, located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206. Can be eligible to work hybrid 1-2 days a week after fully trained.
Responsibilities
- Conduct financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to identify key drivers of financial performance and inform strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business opportunities, assess investment proposals, and support strategic planning efforts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance on strategic projects, initiatives, and business plans.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to communicate financial insights, recommendations, and performance metrics to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance related roles, with a focus on financial analysis, strategic planning, or corporate finance.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and quantitative techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software (Oracle/Hyperion) a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business impact.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
