Location: 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.
Hybrid Eligible: After training, this position offers hybrid remote work options.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with managers, regional leaders, and supervisors on employee relations issues, performance management, and policy guidance.
• Provide interpretation and guidance on HR policies and regulations to ensure fair and consistent application.
• Lead investigations into complex issues such as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, recommending appropriate actions.
• Respond to employee complaints promptly and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Review of background and drug-test discrepancies; providing guidance to supervisors on the continued employability of the impacted employee, in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policy.
• Partner in the preparation of responses to external charges of discrimination
• Assist with unemployment claims responses; obtain needed information, provide all required responses, ensure responses are filed, and participate in unemployment claims hearings.
• Monitor legislative updates and changes to employment laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance with policies and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, or related field required.
  
  • Seven years of demonstrated comparable HR-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in an employee relations role or in a role focused on the resolution of employee relations matters required.
• Experience with state and federal employment, wage, and hour laws and regulations required.
• Experience serving a large population of employees at a multistate employer.
• Professional certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP highly preferred
• Experience coaching supervisors or conducting investigations highly preferred.
• Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
