Overview

 The Licensing & Enrollment Specialist will achieve and maintain the licensure, accreditation, and enrollment regulatory profiles for home health and hospice agencies in states as assigned by department management. 

 

This position is located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.  After 6 months of employment, this role will be eligible to work from home 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

  •  Obtain new licenses and enrollments, renewals, staff documentation, and resumes related to licensure and conditions of participation; follow streamlined processes to coordinate with branch leaders and necessary home office departments.
  •  Manage necessary reports, initiation, change of information, revalidation, and renewal submissions for compliance timely; certificate of need (CON), clinical laboratory improvement amendments (CLIA), state license, Medicare 855A, Medicaid, and national provider identifier (NPI).
  •  Maintain communication with state and federal authorities; ensure timely processing of licensure and enrollment filings.
  • Organize and complete required documentation for clinical personnel filings to various state and federal agencies; coordinate with field personnel, as necessary.
  • Complete regulatory research related to notification and filing requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to department and senior leadership; regarding status of assigned initiatives and projected completion timeframes.
  •  Maintain a positive, supportive, and team-centered customer service approach in every interaction.
  • Demonstrate qualifications and competencies consistently and reliably.
  •  Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with organizational forms and required filings, such as articles of incorporation, state registration and doing business as (d/b/a) filings, resolutions, or minutes
  • Must have experience with Microsoft office suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or a paralegal professional certification
  • Two years of experience in healthcare office functions
