Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Leave of Absence Leader to join our team. Your responsibilities will include evaluating leave policies and procedures, communicating expectations to employees, and providing education and training to enhance understanding across the organization.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of leave management processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of leave specialists, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure consistent application of leave policies and practices across the organization.
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to leave management and ensure compliance.
- Evaluate and enhance leave policies, procedures, and communication strategies to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Provide education and training to all employees on leave policies, procedures, and entitlements.
- Handle complex leave situations and serve as a resource for employees and managers seeking guidance.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement leave-related initiatives and programs.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting related to leave management activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Comparable, related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in leave management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of leave laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, and other relevant statutes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex leave situations effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and leave management software is preferred.
