Overview

The Director of Operations Finance is responsible for leading and developing the strategic operations finance function to support home health and hospice segment operations leadership teams. Ensure operational leaders are provides ongoing in-depth budget and forecast analysis, education, and strategic focus while acting as a liaison between operations and
the finance functions.

 

This position is located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206.

Hybrid eligible:
Once fully trained, this position will be eligible to work remotely 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the financial planning and analysis team to provide support to both Home Health and Hospice Segments operations leadership teams.
  • Ensures the team provides in-depth analysis, education and strategic focus on a reoccurring monthly basis.
  • Ensures the team provides financial support with a focus on accountability discussion and action planning
    based on particular region or branch performance.
  • Facilitate and lead financial and operational performance strategy calls with branches; address challenges
    and performance improvement strategies; track and trend performance; follow up with branches.
  • Identify the keys to success for branches on a performance plan; work with branch leadership to ensure
    implementation of keys to success.
  • Ensures support is provided for quarterly forecast process with regional and branch level performance
    trends and insight.
  • Leads annual branch level budget build process, with ownership of branch level budget builds in
    collaboration with the operations team.
  • Support and develop education of branch leadership regarding topics that enhance understanding and
    implementation of practices that improve the financial health of the branches.
  • Ensure monthly branch forecasting process is performed.
  • Ensure monthly revenue adjustment analysis and facilitate review from revenue team of appropriate
    adjustments.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required to have Bachelor's Degree in, finance, healthcare, or a related field. Preferred to have Master's.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Required advanced experience in excel based modeling.
  • Preferred experience in a leadership role with a finance team working closely with senior management.
  • Preferred experience in a home health or hospice setting.
  • Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
  • Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
  • Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other
    position objectives.
