Responsibilities
Acts as a resource to the hospice operations and sales teams in facilitating timely and appropriate patient admission of hospice, utilization of best practice branch operations. Utilizes clinical, operational, sales and customer service knowledge to train and educate Enhabit hospice staff, patients and referral sources. Performs site visits, education and training, and consultations where necessary on the delivery of care to hospice patients.
Qualifications
- Required to be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Required to have and maintain a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, per state requirements to complete this job in accordance with applicable board’s rules.
- Required to have at a minimum of five years’ experience in a Medicare verified hospice agency.
- Required to have and maintain CPR certification, as required by position.
- Required to have previous demonstrated experience with all aspects of hospice branch operations including clinical, financial, regulatory and compliance.
- Required to have and maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence.
- Required to have and maintain automobile liability insurance, as required by law.
- Previous experience with developing and implementing employee education is preferred.
- Previous experience and proficiency with Homecare Homebase (HCHB), both R2 and PointCare, is highly preferred.
- Oral communication, written communication, fluency in English, active listening.
- Demonstrated intermediate technology skills. Especially Microsoft office, including word and excel.
- Other than for designated full-time remote positions, in-office attendance is essential in order to achieve Enhabit objectives, including but not limited to, effective supervision, teamwork, task completion, and other
