Overview

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, a leading provider of home health services, is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team to new heights.

 

This position is located at 6688 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75206 and is expected to work onsite the first 10 business days of each month. 

 

Hybrid eligible: Once fully trained, this position will be eligible to work remotely 2-3 days per week.  

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee journal entries, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis.
  • Provide insights and analysis to department leaders for effective financial management and budget comparisons.
  • Manage the monthly close process, ensuring adherence to standard procedures and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, and collaborate with auditors for risk assessments.
  • Support financial planning, including the preparation of annual budgets, and implement updates to standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting department for a multi-location retail or healthcare company.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency with accounting enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Strong experience with general ledger accounting, preferably PeopleSoft financials.
  • Experience in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant environment is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in a home health or hospice setting is a plus.
